Ainet, Osttirol

From Lienz (7 km, approx. 10 minutes):
Take the B100 road eastbound towards Sillian. After Lienz, follow the Ainet / Iseltal signs. Turn onto the Iseltal road and follow it to the village of Ainet.

From Innsbruck (170 km, approx. 2 hours):
Take the A12 motorway via the Brenner / Felbertauern route, then follow signs to Lienz, and from there to Ainet.

From Italy / Cortina:
From Passo Tre Croci or Toblach head towards Lienz, then continue eastwards through the Iseltal valley to Ainet.

By train to Lienz:
Lienz central station is served by ÖBB trains from Innsbruck, Salzburg and Villach. There is also a connection from Vienna with a transfer in Salzburg or Villach.

By bus from Lienz:
A regional bus service connects Lienz and Ainet. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Timetables: oebb.at or postbus.at.

Airport transfer:
The nearest airport is Innsbruck (INN), about 170 km away. Onward travel by train and bus, or by a pre-arranged taxi transfer. We are happy to help organise the pick-up.
