East Tyrol is a region rich in sunlight and mountains.

The River Isel is an excellent rafting site, and East Tirol is also a great hub of hiking, rock climbing, cycling or paragliding.
The region’s capital is Lienz, a calm and quiet town with a special atmosphere. The old town is the ideal place for either taking a cup of coffee in the sunshine or for wandering and shopping around.
